Honors in Cell Biology and Neuroscience is awarded to students who have completed successfully the honors research track. To qualify for the honors research track (option B), a student must have attained a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.4 and a grade-point average of 3.4 or better in courses required for the major. The student must apply formally to the department for acceptance into the honors program by the start of the fall term of the senior year.


How to Apply:

A CBN Honors application form, along with an honors research proposal, must be completed by the student and signed by his/her faculty mentor, prior to submission for approval to the Coordinator of Advising. Each CBN honor student is expected to write and successfully defend a thesis, arising from his/her research efforts, before a 3-faculty member committee.
