The Department of Cell Biology & Neuroscience (CBN) at Rutgers New Brunswick-Piscataway campus offers opportunities for underrepresented minority Ph.D. holders to train as Presidential Postdoctoral Fellows (PPF) with one of several faculty members. The PPF program is part of the Presidential Diversity Hiring Initiative Program implemented by the Chancellor- Provost office. Briefly, the PPF program covers the fellow’s salary ($65,000/year) and fringe benefits, and also provides $10,000 annually for discretionary research funding for up to 2 years. Candidates may be nominated through an external or internal process. The CBN Department is currently soliciting applications through the internal nomination process.
