The Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience proudly celebrated its graduating Class of 2025 at the annual Senior Celebration on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. This year, we honored 180 graduating seniors for their academic accomplishments, research excellence, and dedication to the life sciences.
Several students received special recognition and awards for their outstanding achievements:

- Research Publication Award
- Thesis Award
- CBN Honors Cord
- Peter Robenson Scholar Pin
- Henry Rutgers Scholar Nominee
Among our honorees were:
- Taanvi Bhasin and Tracy Lu, recipients of multiple awards, including the prestigious Peter Robenson Scholar Pin.
- Rohan Savani, Neha Patel, Nishi Patel, and Akanksha Mathivanan, who received three or more honors each.
- A number of students earned Honors Cords and recognition as Henry Rutgers Scholar Nominees, a testament to their scholarly excellence.
We congratulate all of our graduates on reaching this important milestone and thank them for their contributions to the department. We look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the years ahead.
