CBN Society

About the Club

The CBN Society serves as a community for social and intellectual interactions among students interested in neuroscience and related fields. We offer many opportunities to explore various career paths in graduate school, industry, and medical school and learn how to extract as much as you can from your undergraduate education. We welcome all who are curious about neuroscience, regardless of your major and are here to set you up for success!

Here are just some of the things our organization offers:

• A mentorship community for pre-research and pre-health students to share knowledge and support each other.
• Monthly journal clubs and intriguing debates about current neuroscience research.
• Advising nights and Mentor-Mentee events that help you form 4-year plans and build connections that stay with you past graduation
• Educational lectures that connect students and faculty within the CBN, MBB, Genetics, and Biological Sciences department.
• Fundraising events that support neurodegenerative organizations.
• Scientific and medical outreach for pre-health students such as hosting educational activities at high schools on traumatic brain injury
