Requirements:
Honors in Cell Biology and Neuroscience is awarded to students who have completed successfully the honors research track.
To qualify for the honors research track (option B)
- A student must have attained a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.4
- And a grade-point average of 3.4 or better in courses required for the major.
- The student must apply formally to the department for acceptance into the honors program by the start of the fall term of the senior year.
How to Apply:
A CBN Honors application form, along with an honors research proposal, must be completed by the student and signed by his/her faculty mentor, prior to submission for approval to the Coordinator of Advising.
Each CBN honor student is expected to write and successfully defend a thesis, arising from his/her research efforts, before a 3-faculty member committee.
